Crock Stock

Nutrients, phytochemicals, and water found within cabbage cell walls are extracted by massaging the salt into the shreds of cabbage. Gradually, compounds with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, gut-healing, anticarcinogenic, and immune-boosting properties collect in the ‘Stock’. This ‘Stock’ in sauerkraut is where lactic acid bacteria live and where fermentation occurs.
From a gut-health and nutrition perspective, the stock is more valuable than the actual Sauerkraut. Our Crock Stock is undiluted and unfiltered…we mean it, nothing added, just pure goodness.
Can be used as a starter for ferments.
