FERMENTATION, IT'S A LIFESTYLE

We learned the art of fermenting from family and are honored to carry on the tradition. Located in Sterling Alaska, Ak Fermentation Co. has evolved from its origins of selling at Farmers Markets to wholesale retail sales, while keeping with our commitment to authentic ferments. When not creating ferments, Greg and Marnie enjoy exploring Alaska’s natural beauty, hunting and fishing to fill the freezer and traveling.  Spending time with family is a top priority, and we are blessed with three children, one son-in-law, and two amazing grandchildren. You can often find our family helping out in the kitchen, used to taste new flavor profiles, manning the booth at the market, or accompanying a delivery.
